Hello! My name is Parul.
​
A contemporary unencumbered intuitive self-taught artist with an organic tendency for creating a bold interplay of colors, shapes & patterns with strong bohemian undertones - largely inspired by my experiences, feelings, meditations, Universal awareness, nature and astral travels.
​
Through high school, and while studying to be a software engineer and a finance grad; or while working in corporate world and raising my two lovely daughters; while racing across remote Himalayan landscapes or through the sands of Rajasthan - Creativity always found me. Not in spite of doing other things - but because of all these sights, smells, feels & experiences. Visual Art is my channel to express my profound moments and emotions.

And, I let the moment and the energy decide what and how of each artwork. Therefore, every Artwork is unique and I am frequently and joyfully surprised by them myself. I believe is remaining untethered to any specific style because each style is magical and must be explored.
Creating is a journey of self-discovery, which is as important as the final creation!

Simple person with an uncomplicated belief system, I feel at my best creative self when subjected to beauty in simple things in nature and my day to day surroundings. Anything from a simple flower, to human emotions, to a lazy afternoon inspires me to paint. I like to explore spiritual side of today's materialistic existence, and believe that both dimensions can co-exist. My motivation comes from limitless human potential for goodness and I like to look at the positive side of the way we are. My artwork contain elements of positive emotions that are our true cosmic state of existence. Love, healing, abundance, gratitude and symbiotic relationship with our ecosystem - whether on this planet or in this physical universe or in the spiritual plane - is the organic way for our collective evolution.

Even as a child, I recall being a believer in a larger Universe than we can ever perceive, in the presence of cosmic energy that encompasses everything and everyone, and in the power of strong intention & uplifting emotions.
​
Over the years I naturally gravitated towards practicing energy healing and the intuitive art of tarot reading. An avid believer of the laws of karma, predetermined soul paths and ethereal guiding signs, I look for synchronicity everywhere, and it finds me just like Creativity does. I feel that my energies are very aligned with elements – specially with earth and water, and I am instantly energized around trees & crystals.

My art related training in initial years was through workshops and sessions with some awesome teachers in different mediums over the years, supplemented by self study of techniques and my own experiments with styles. Books, Sci-fi movies and Coffee are my other pleasures!

Just like the Universe we live in, the sources of Inspirations and the methods of our Creative Expressions are infinite! Let the journey continue...
